This is family

When we decided to have a child, we thought we brought a lot of life experience to the table (with careers in the airline industry and as an emergency medicine physician). But, we are still NEW parents.

This should be easy, right? 

​

It wasn't long until we realized this was like nothing we had ever done before and we had NO idea what we were doing! 

​

And if that wasn’t enough, he was born smack dab in the middle of a world wide pandemic. So, due to social distancing and quarantines, we were on our own... just us, the baby, and the dog, trying to figure things out. However, we always vowed to approach every day with what we were gaining from this experience, not what we were losing or missing.
